“The Life Cycle of the River Herring”
This exhibit runs April through June. Every spring see thousands of river herring migrate up Town Brook. Take a tour with Leo the Miller and learn of the importance of the herring to the survival of the colony. Watch an underwater video of the herring swimming against the water currents as they migrate towards Billington Sea.

Stop by the Jenney House Museum and view our cranberry bog “John Jenney’s Itty Bitty Cranberry Bog, donated by A.D. Makepeace Company of Wareham.
“The Making of our Bog”
A.D. Makepeace Company of Wareham, Ma. donated the material and the labor to plant our cranberry bog. The first harvest was seen in the fall. We are very excited as this bog will be used in our new educational programs in 2012.

Our Bog Has A Name!
Congratulations to Haley Abernathy of Avondale, PA. for naming our bog. Haley’s entry to our Name the Bog contest was selected from among 59 entries! Haley, age 13, is an eight grade student who loves history and is a very creative art student.
