“Plymouth’s Jenney Grist Mill”
The Jenney Grist Mill, America’s first utility, launched the beginning of industry and free trade in our country. Meet the miller, dressed in period clothing, who will take you back in time as he tells of the importance of the mill to the survival of the colony and the stories of struggles and faith. Teachers, our educational programs fit many state curriculum standards. For more information please go to our Teacher Resource Page. Visit mid April to mid May and see thousands of river herring migrate up Town Brook by the Mill on the way to spawn. Educational and fun for people of every age! Reservations are suggested.
“Discover Plymouth’s History – A Walking Tour” 
If history is why you are coming to Plymouth you won’t want to miss this tour of the historic district. Hear about the people, places, and events that shaped the beginning of our country. What led the Pilgrim’s to come to America? Come find out. Includes Brewster Gardens, Plymouth Rock and the historic water front area, Cole’s Hill, Leyden Street, and Town Square. Led by a guide dressed in period clothing, this one hour tour begins and ends at the Jenney House Museum located at 48 Summer Street. Reservations are necessary. Free parking on site. “Forefather’s Monument Tour”
Located on a hill in historic Plymouth, this hidden gem is the largest solid granite monument in our country. Construction began in 1794. Learn who donated $15 to help build it, how long it took to build,and who sponsored each statue. Don’t just drive by it. Come and learn what each of the five statues represents on this 40 minute narrated tour given by our guide in period clothing. Reservations are necessary. Call 508-747-4544.
“The Pilgrim’s God”
Discover how their covenant relationship with God influenced the everyday life of the Pilgrims and how they used their gifts for the benefit of the community.
